Four Paws Ups Focus On Consumer Labelling On Mulesing.

Mulesing causes terrible suffering to live lambs. Large chunks of flesh are hacked away from the animal anal region to try and control what is known as ‘fly strike’. Performed without the use of analgesics, the animals are restrained whilst shear like tools literally remove by cutting off chunks of flesh from around the anus.

I have included pictures here of animals that have suffered mulesing. This is a typical process for wool bearing animals. Regards Mark

UK – Badger Cull / Bovine TB Officially Debated In Parliament – Monday 13th October 2025.

With over 100,000 petition signatures calling for an end to the badger cull, the subject was thus officially debated and recorded on Monday.

For overseas visitors, ‘Hansard’ is the official system of recording EVERY word spoken in UK Government – a big task but for historical reference, the only and essential way of recording everything spoken by Members of Parliament – MP’s.

Here is the original, official petition wording – https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/700317

The Commons Library provides information on future debates – here is the briefing associated with this Badger cull issue – https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cdp-2025-0189/

Much of the British public think the current Labour Government has misled them by NOT taking action to stop the Badger cull. Hence this is why the petition was originally created.
