Pen Farthing was made a scapegoat by the dishonourable Ben Wallace for his incompetence in the evacuation of Afghan citizens from Kabul. The only thing that the British government did for Pen Farthing was to give him a landing slot but they had to get it from the Americans first. When Pen finally got his animals through the Taliban lines without his people because the Taliban would not allow them to leave Kabul the British had already cut & run because of the suicide bomb which killed USMC personnel.. Pen was left to his own devices for several hours before his privately charted airplane arrived. The pilots went around the airport offering to take out some epople as they had the space but everybody declinded their offer…No British troops helped Pen load his animals into the cargo hold…off duty USMC, US Army & other good people volunteered to help him load the aircraft which Pen was grateful for… Lots of British journalists continue to slag Pen off for bringing out his animals but he could have carried Afghan people too but the British had already left & nobody would take him up on his offer…Even to this very day they still lie & claim that Pen only evacuated animals & deliberately left his people behind. The British ambassord to Afghanistan was one of the worst… He shipped a car home from Kabul & supposedly tried to fly out on the very first plane but British troops forced him off the aircraft at bayonet point… Pen is a really good person & Operation Ark has caused him to lose the Love of his live the beautiful Kaisha. Pen has dedicated his life to helping animals in need with Nowzad in the Ukraine & Afghanistan too… if I could I would award Pen an MBE & a Knighhood for everything that he has done & continues to do to help animals..
