I agree with things said in the following article. I am skeptical a little – Labour promised to end the badger cull pre election, yet they are still approving its continuation; that is why I take political talk with a pinch of salt. What action are we really going to see here ?

EU – Very Positive Forward Movement For Non Animal Science. EU Parliament Has Now Adopted OSOA Package – The Common Data Package On Chemicals, Forcing The Sharing Of Data Rather Than Repeating The Same Independent Research By Organisations.

Sounds like the forced adoption of testing results between different research organisations. Can mean only one thing, a reduction in the same repetitive testing = thus an obvious reduction in the numbers of animals used to get the same data. Sounds like a big win for lab animals to me – Mark.
