The nations which make up the United Kingdom has very many citizens who care deeply for animals. As sentient beings, they are capable of showing fear, pain, pleasure and joy. It is our collective responsibility to provide them with the best in whatever ways we can. 85% of British adults agree that we have a moral duty to protect animals and their welfare.
Here is the new animal welfare strategy by the English Government published in December 2025.
It is just me, but this is the first recording I play every January 1st.
I would like to send everyone and their loved ones very best wishes for the New Year 2026. Something tells me that 2026 is going to be a positive year for the AR movement. I promise you I intend to play a very small part in that. Regards Mark.

This is an animal rights / welfare site. There is no way i personally fully condone https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/condone the murder of ANY animal, for monetary profit. Animals kill other animals in the natural process in order to survive.
They do not go to the supermarket and select those slaughtered by the modern day processes. So whilst being bad, the following needs to be viewed from outside the slaughter box. If anything, I hope you find it a useful source of information.
