These are the sights in every extermination facility.
98 percent of the sheep farmers’ income comes from selling meat. Every year, one million sheep – almost exclusively lambs – are slaughtered in Germany.
Lamb meat is preferred in Germany, but older sheep are also consumed.
A specialty, especially at Easter, is milk lambs – infants who drink from their mother and have never eaten grass, between 8 weeks and half a year old. For this reason they have very light meat, which is considered “buttery soft, tender fiber and low in fat” – baby meat.
More than half of the lamb consumed was and is imported from abroad, mainly from New Zealand and Great Britain.Most sheep live in New Zealand, Australia and China. And these countries don’t just export to the EU.
The largest customers include the countries of the Middle East and North Africa.
Although the lamb is the epitome of gentleness and innocence, it is eventually dragged away by its mother to be slaughtered. Some sheep farmers slaughter on their own farm – or the lambs are loaded and transported to the slaughterhouse.
They smell the blood of the other animals and feel their despair.
Then electric tongs are placed on the head of the lamb, and a shock is triggered, which causes epileptic cramps and ultimately leads to unconsciousness – whereby the anesthetic is by no means always effective.
Because it happens again and again that animals regain consciousness during slaughter. Sheep are killed by cutting the main artery on the neck, causing them to bleed out.
Masses of animals are slaughtered, things have to be done quickly, the animals are stressed, the workers too.
This leads to mistakes, stunned and obviously there is no one to intervene.
There are animals that are loud in fearful situations. Pigs, for example. Sheep and cattle suffer quietly. Sheep try to escape, to escape… Slaughterhouses are of course designed so that the animals cannot go anywhere.
The “Cormo Express” disaster
A few years ago, the Cormo Express caused one of the worst known incidents. The transport ship had 58,000 sheep on board and was on its way from Australia to Saudi Arabia when a viral disease broke out among the animals.
When Saudi Arabia prevented the ship from entering, almost 30 other countries followed, refusing to land. It was only after more than two months at sea that a port could be found in Eritrea; at this point, 6,000 animals had already died on the ship.
The disaster of the Cormo Express caused worldwide protests and had consequences. Since then, exact records have to be kept of transports; shipments from Australia must be accompanied by a veterinarian if the supervisory authority so decides.
Australia issued a comprehensive set of rules. However, because many other countries have no or only very low legal standards for animal transport, the mass extinction continues.
And I mean… Slaughter and the suffering of animals in general is not nice to look at. But more than that: Most don’t think much about slaughtering. They buy their meat nicely packaged in the supermarket or directly from the farmer.
They lie to themselves and believe that everything works and is good as soon as the red, white and red stamp is on the packaging

They continue to use a moral pattern for their eating habits and related animal abuse.

Researchers from England used pigs to test vaccines against the novel corona virus. To do this, they take advantage of the similarity of the immune and respiratory systems of pigs and humans.
Scientists from England now want to use pigs to fight the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. In collaboration with researchers from Oxford University and Public Health England, a team of scientists from the Pirbright Institute will begin testing new vaccines for their ability to raise protective antibodies against SARS-CoV-2.
Among other things, the chimpanzee adenovirus vaccine vector that was used to produce vaccines against Ebola, the Middle East respiratory syndrome and the flu is tested.
The vaccine candidates developed will contain the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2. This is the protein against which protective antibodies are formed in infected people. To do this, the researchers measure the amount of antibodies produced after injecting vaccine candidates into pigs.

They take advantage of the fact that pig and human immune systems have significant similarities. It can be assumed that a good response to a vaccine candidate in pigs is also promising in humans.
At the same time, the scientists will also test the safety of the new vaccines and check whether there are any adverse side effects in the pigs. If this attempt is successful, the next step could be to investigate the possible vaccine in humans.
The scientists from Pirbright are already using pigs for research on influenza viruses. Pigs have so far been used as large animal models because they have a very similar respiratory system to that of humans. In addition, they inherently become infected with influenza viruses and form antibodies with properties similar to those of humans. Pigs are therefore a suitable model for carrying out research for the novel corona virus.
The vaccine vector used cannot cause infection
“The vector vaccine developed at Oxford is used in this SARS-CoV-2 vaccine research because it can produce a strong immune response at a low dose,” explains Bryan Charleston, director of the Pirbright Institute.
“The vaccine vector is not replicable, which means that it cannot cause infection in an individual. This makes its application safer for people with underlying health conditions such as diabetes.
This approach has been applied to other vaccines and we hope that this research will enable the vaccine to advance to the next phase of human testing. ”

With a success rate of 5% (which generally affects all results from animal experiments on humans), we will control the healing process of the corona as slowly as that of the Spanish flu.

Chinese Markets Reopen — And They Still Sell Bats, Dogs And Cats
Live animals are still for sale in Chinese food markets that reopened after the country recently declared victory over coronavirus.
Cages full of cats and dogs waiting for slaughter and the unsanitary preparation of animals is again reportedly a common sight in Chinese food markets, often called wet-markets, according to in-country correspondents with the Daily Mail. China ordered that its wet-markets be shut down in January, after facts emerged suggesting that coronavirus was first transmitted to humans via bats and other live animals sold in the often filthy places of commerce, according to Business Insider. However, now that China says it’s beaten the virus, the markets seem to have resumed business as usual.
“The markets have gone back to operating in exactly the same way as they did before coronavirus,” said a Daily Mail correspondent who observed the markets re-opening Dongguan. “The only difference is that security guards try to stop anyone taking pictures which would never have happened before.”
Another correspondent in Guilin, a city in southwest China, photographed a sign advertising bats, snakes, spiders, lizards and scorpions for sale as remedies for common illnesses.
