Germany: and the crosses of “Farmer Willi”!

Suddenly they were there. The green crosses of wood, covered with white signs. But what is behind it?

kreuz mit Zettel

On 4 September 2019, the State Agriculture Minister Julia Klöckner and Federal Environment Minister Svenja Schulze have decided, inter alia, that the cancer weed killer glyphosate from 2024 completely, and particularly harmful pesticides in most nature reserves will be already banned.

The insect killing is to be contained with it. The farmers should also create retreat areas for insects, the federal government wants to identify more biotopes. With 100 million euros, research on insect repellent is to be supported.

massensterben von Bienenjpg

Even the controversial animal welfare label will come.
In addition, more agricultural subsidies, which have so far been paid mainly for the simple possession of land, should finance environmental projects by farmers, for example.

The farmers have organized a rebellion under the “Farmer Willi”.

Kreuz-jpg

Currently, the “farmer Willi” calls all farmers to protest with green wooden crosses in their fields against the “agricultural package” of the Federal Government.

But in his statements he often advocates the interests of agrochemical companies such as Bayer AG.

“Bayer / Monsanto, Syngenta, Gene-Lobby & Co. see their profit interests by the “agricultural package” massively endangered, but psychologically clever as they are, do not act on their own, but send targeted “farmer Willi, the small farmers & rural women “ before.

Behind the ridiculous crosses is actually a nationwide campaign.. “Protect the farmers by a yes to the poison and factory farming”.

Similar PR actions and the enormous power of the agricultural lobby in the past have led to massive groundwater problems with nitrate in Germany.

The farmers say, “The package is” so closely tied up “that it takes away the air of many companies to breathe.
In agriculture, this would result in a significant land loss of many areas, and the use of many resources should be massively reduced. This is an encroachment on our property values, as areas would be worthless and could no longer be used for food production.
Furthermore, there is a high risk of “falling yields” and threatens a decline in regional products.

At last, a high price for an animal welfare indicator, in view of the many already existing labels on the market, no one needs more “!!

Schweine in Müllkontainer jpg

And we say: In reality, it’s the other way around:
If the soil continues to be poisoned,
the insects continue to die,
the groundwater continues to be contaminated
and our food continues to deteriorate,
then our diet will destroy our lives.

So we see the crosses in the fields as a symbol of death, exploitation, and destruction of the animal and nature world.
And we consider this abuse of Christian symbols for poison, glyphosate and factory farming not only ridiculous, but a sign of farmer primitiveness.

‘Clustermap’ All of a Cluster !

Hi all;

well our global Clustrmap (the World map on the left of the site) which we use to see where visitors are arriving from seems to have been a bit up in the air over the last few days to say the least.

This service is totally out of our control.

https://clustrmaps.com/site/1a9kn

Visitor traffic for yesterday showed that zero people had attended the site – where as in fact we had around 300 visitors.

We do not know what has gone wrong, but at the moment things seem a bit ‘iffy’.

All we will do is keep banging out posts as usual with the hope that Clustrmap gets back on track and shows the real amounts of visitors.

Regards Mark and Venus.

RSPB clash with gamekeepers over missing Scots sea eagles

TWO tagged sea eagles disappeared on the same day after last being recorded on Scottish grouse moors.

RSPB Scotland has appealed for information after the protected birds of prey, also known as white-tailed eagles, disappeared “in highly suspicious circumstances” this summer. Transmissions from the tags ceased on July 22. One of the birds, known as ‘White L’, was a male tagged as a chick in Fife in 2016. His tag last transmitted on a moor near the Banchory to Fettercairn road in Aberdeenshire. The other chick disappeared on managed moorland at Tomatin, on the A9 between Inverness and Aviemore. It was born in Inverness-shire.

RSPB Scotland said the Inverness-shire moor is “in an area with a history of raptor persecution, including numerous suspicious disappearances of tagged golden eagles over several years”.

White-tailed eagles are Scotland’s largest birds of prey, with an eight-foot wingspan.

Ian Thomson, RSPB Scotland’s head of investigations, said: “Yet again, rare, protected birds of prey have disappeared in highly suspicious circumstances, with their last known locations on grouse moors. And yet again, we can be almost certain that these birds have been killed, with those responsible destroying all the evidence.

“The disappearance of these two eagles is more than a loss of two birds; it means any future breeding success they might have had, helping to boost the numbers of these rare birds, has also been destroyed.”

In both cases, RSPB Scotland said the tags ceased transmitting with no prior evidence of any technical issues.

Follow-up investigations by Police Scotland and the National Wildlife Crime Unit, including searches of the final known locations of the birds, have yielded no further information as to their likely demise.

Industry body Scottish Land & Estates (SLE) said it was “frustrating” that RSPB Scotland had waited three months to issue its appeal.

SLE executive director Sarah-Jane Laing said: “It is frustrating that more than three months have passed before the appeal for information has been issued publicly by RSPB and we await further information from Police Scotland. We question RSPB’s decision to immediately point the finger of blame at grouse moors rather than to find out what has actually happened.”

The Scottish Gamekeepers Association said it was possible the tags had failed.

A spokesman said: “There needs to be a degree of caution when dealing with satellite tag incidents.

“Tags can and do fail. They only give an indication of birds’ movements because there can be considerable time lapses in data being received.

“A bird can therefore travel a fair distance from the point the last known locational fix was sent, which makes searching often futile. We have seen cases where birds that have been given up for dead have later been located.”

Germany: “calves cheaper than canary birds”

The real scandal is not the price, but that animals are traded, abused, exploited and murdered.

banane rep deutschlandpg

Calves now cost less than nine euros, according to SPIEGEL-MAGAZIN information. Such cheap prices are “the sad side effect of industrial agriculture,” says the Green Party politician Ostendorff (full member of the Committee on Food and Agriculture).

Cattle breeders in Germany are currently facing an unprecedented drop in prices.

A black and white cow calf was still worth 8.49 euros in October.

kalb mit ketten_n

This follows from the response of the Ministry of Agriculture to the Federal MEP Parliament, Friedrich Ostendorff, according to the information of an industrial service.

Market restrictions due to bluetongue are responsible for the price erosion, according to the ministry.
Transport restrictions, such as to Spain, have recently led to an oversupply of female calves, which cost just under 30 euros in June.

Kälber-77

The German Agriculture Minister Julia Klöckner had expressed in a letter to her Bavarian counterparts doubt (!!!) whether such transports are compatible with the EU Regulation. A few weeks old animals are often over 19 hours in the truck on the way. Animal welfare, according to Ostendorff, that is not.

Hubertus Paetow, President of the German Agricultural Society, says that the problem has a far greater dimension: “The calf has no real place in the value chain and so it ends up being squandered in principle,” he told the magazine Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.Calves are co-products of milk production”(!!!)

kälber in Mülltonnen

But with the restrictions alone, the price decline is hardly explainable. The green agricultural expert considers other reasons more important: The cheap prices are “the sad side effect of industrial agriculture,” says Ostendorff.
“The intensive milk production also leads to too many calves being produced for the market.”

Ottmar Ilchmann of the Association of Farming Agriculture considers the prices for a scandal: “There a calf costs less than a canary bird.” The one-sided breeding of certain breeds only on milk yield makes their offspring for the mast uneconomical.
In addition, the food supplies are scarce due to the drought.

“These thin calves are often no longer considered animals, but only as damage.”

My comment: In this one sentence manifests the perversion of industrial meat- and milk mafia:

“These thin calves are often no longer considered animals, but only as damage.”

In the concentration camps of the Nazis, about 6 million human victims were murdered and also raped, tortured…
Client: none (or one)!

In the concentration camps of the perpetrators of the 21st century, about 900 million (Germany) and 70-75 billion (worldwide) non-human victims are raped, tortured, tortured and murdered every year.

Client: Billions of carnivorous human animals.

And yet there is one difference: The Nazis did not breed their victims!
The perpetrators of the animal concentration camps are multiplying their (non-human) victims billions!

The crimes of the Nazis ended in 1945!
The crimes committed in the Tier KZ’s of the 21st century, with billions of non-human victims, continue unabated!

Your Voice Is Being Heard in the Fight Against Dog Meat

nami delivers.jpg

Above – Nami delivering petitions to the governor’s office.

We have an exciting update from South Korea.

A petition from Lady Freethinker and Save Korean Dogs to close more than 250 illegal dog meat farms in Ganghwa Island County (part of Incheon City), S. Korea, has reached Governor Yoo Cheon Ho.

More than 30,000 of you signed the petition to urge the governor to enforce S. Korea’s laws and close all facilities that violate them, sparing animals from being crammed into tiny cages and brutally killed by electrocution, hanging, even being boiled alive.

LFT partner and Save Korean Dogs founder Nami Kim delivered the petition to the governor’s office. She expressed hope after having met with the county’s livestock department, who showed strong interest in “Empty Cages,” which provides former owners of permanently closed dog meat farms pathways to launch alternative careers.
We are encouraged by this news and will continue distributing petitions, running bus ads, and aiding the rescue of dogs from Korea’s meat trade until every dog meat farm is closed.

Spain: animal tormentors run amok

spanische flagge mit Stier

Tonight, like every year, this time on the second weekend of November, pitch balls were stuck to the horns of a bull and set on fire: ‘Toro de Fuego’ is called the burning bull in this way.

in Medinaceli (Spain) a bull will be dragged again with a rope tied in the antlers and chased by a crowd that will surround it to set fire to the metal frame placed on its horns, inches from its face. He will not escape, panic will take over him.

feuerstier-toro-jubilo-

The terror that the animal will feel is indescribable. Try to put out the fire with sudden movements, which can cause serious injuries and even to death. Due to the fire and heat the mud that covers his face will be released and the sparks of the burning teas will burn his head, the spine and the eyes.

The animal is in pain and runs in panic through the arena, then out onto the streets. In desperation, the bull wants to extinguish the fire and bounces his head against house walls or lanterns.
If he does not die, his fur, his eyes or his horns will burn. Because pitch can not simply be erased: it is a sticky lump of tar or turpentine. The brutal scenes you see in the video.

https://www.facebook.com/PartidoAnimalista.PACMA/

toro noticia_normal

And I meant…As in ancient Rome, when human sacrifices were offered to the lions as combat objects, the veteran bullfighting mafia provides a bloody spectacle for primitive, asocial, and mentally frail proletarians with the justification of tradition.
The mob wants blood: psychopaths, sadists, and horny tourists clap and roar around the victim during it trys to be free from his painful suffering.

The difference is only the animal species, the crime remains the same.

It’s not just a crime against a defenseless animal.
In the end, the bull is not killed by the fire, but by the cruelty of the executioners, by the madness of those who have given them the power to do it, and by a society that makes it possible because it is silent.

Poland: Mecca of the fur industry

German Animal Protection Office: We discover animal cruelty on Polish fur farms and save Fox Masha

Poland

Dear animal friends,

My name is Denise Weber and I have been involved with the German Animal Protection Office for many years. During this time I have already seen a lot of animal suffering and uncovered. But today, I would like to draw your attention to our new undercover research: We reveal the indescribable suffering of the animals on Polish fur farms: a short life in the cage, narrowness, fear and a cruel death waiting for the animals.

pelzfarm

For decades we fought together with other animal rights activists in Germany for the fact that there are no more fur farms – with success. In April of this year the last fur farm of Germany was closed. Although there are no more fur farms in Germany, fur is still sold nationwide on jackets, hats and accessories. We have therefore investigated the question of where these furs originally came from.

Fuchs-Pelzfarm-Polen-20161

The trail led us in our research into neighboring Poland. With more than 800-1000 fur farms with a total of more than 5 million fur animals, Poland has become one of the largest fur producers in Europe in recent years.
In recent weeks, we have documented the conditions on the Polish farms and found the worst conditions on the ground: mink, raccoon dogs and foxes, all animals are kept in tiny cage crates and suffer extremely under the conditions.

screenshot-fuchs-farm-poland-kanibalismus

Mink farms with more than 100,000 animals are not uncommon. Such farms are not only very large, but are also very well guarded and secured by the fur farmers. Some farms have built high walls with barbed wire and even watchtowers and video cameras so nobody can look beyond the shiny facade of the fur industry.

Over 8 million mink, fox and raccoon dogs are killed each year in Poland for fur.

polar fuchs pg

Nevertheless, we managed to film with a drone, among other things, how the animals live in such establishments and, above all, suffer. In addition to the huge farms, there are also many small, even together timbered farms with about 100-1,000 animals. Especially in these small farms we found injured and sick animals.

(Unfortunately, I could not find an English version for the German text of the video. But you can only understand everything by the pictures)

Masha, the little polar vixen, however, had incredible luck, she was not killed and is allowed to live. As part of this undercover research, we have rescued her from a Polish fur farm.

mascha pg

Seeing the suffering of the animals on the fur farms deeply touched and shocked me.
It is inexplicable to me how one can lock a wild animal in a cage and let it suffer so.

But I know, only we can make a difference by not buying fur products and educating fur carriers about the animal tormenting conditions and asking them to stop buying and wearing fur.

So now I’d like to ask you: Share our campaign video with all the people you know so that we can open our eyes to as many people as possible. I am sure that the fate of Masha will cause many people to rethink!

My comment: Poland offers fantastic conditions for the fur industry and not only encourages the locals to build more farms. One mink can be kept here on an area of 0.18 square meters, for each additional animal the legislator plans an additional 0.068 square meters. This corresponds to the EU standards!!

There are the politicians who also earn money with their lobby work for the fur mafia. EU Commission wants to strengthen fur farming with its devious “EU reference center for animal welfare”.

Every year in late autumn, when the coat is thick and fluffy enough, is “harvest time”. That is, the animals are brutally killed. In foxes, this is usually done by electricity. The snout is closed with a forceps-shaped electrode and a metal rod inserted into the anus. A surge then kills the animal.
Minks are usually gassed. Then the fur is pulled over the animals’ ears.

In the meantime, a lot of undercover videos have even been shown by the state media, so NOBODY has a “I did not know”.

They are sentient beings who spend a cruel time on this legal Dachau, stand on tight boxes, with grids under their paws, and suffer a cruel death!
They are not invisible products!
They are living beings.

If we want to talk about a civilized world, a similar campaign against the fur should have been started for a long time, as it started with the cigarettes.

England: Jail Illegal Fox Hunters Say the UK Public.

WAV Comment:

As can be seen in the results of the poll given in the above, the Brits basically hate the abuse of wildlife in hunting – and despite the Hunting Act being introduced in 2004, hunts are still managing to escape the legislation introduced then to protect animals.  In December 2019 the UK will be having a General Election; and so the issue of tightening up on the hunting act laws are now an election issue.

Hunts must not be allowed to do their own thing and get around the legislation of the act; but yes; many welfare campaigners have argued for a long time that the regulations need to be strengthened to give the animals even more protection.

I have personally seen the results of a fox hunt, and the pure waste put out by the hunts that it (the kill) is just ‘a bite to the neck’ is complete and utter rubbish, as can be seen in one of my following photos – this is the reality of the hunt, and what wild animals such as fox end up as for the sake of a days ‘sport’ by hunting low life.

Hunting animals in my opinion is the pleasure of the lowest of the low.  What pleasure do sub lifes get from ripping an animal to bits like I show here ? – they are scum; are now and will always be.  Roll on Vinny; be a voice !

Best regards – Mark.

Nobody stays behind: Firefighter rescues cat after smoke poisoning before death!

Grunge Russia flag. Russian flag with grunge texture. Brush stro

A firefighter in Russia became a social media hero after Civil Protection released footage about him reanimating a lifeless cat.
These he had saved minutes before from a terrible fire.

Feuerwehrmann Russlandpg

Thirty-five people and two pets of the historic building were rescued earlier this week in Tver, a city about 160 kilometers northeast of Moscow.

The fur ball suffered serious smoke poisoning when the firefighters managed to rescue it via an escape route.

The images show one of the helpers cleaning the cat’s face with water from a puddle and using his airpack – the respirator used in heavy smoke – to oxygenate the animal.

feuerwehrmann Russlandjpg

Fortunately, the resuscitation succeeded, and after about seven minutes, the cat was regained consciousness despite the ordeal.

katzenrettung RusslandjpgA photo taken at the scene of the fire shows it lying on a sofa.

Firefighter Andrey Meister told local media that he and his crew found the cat looking for survivors right after they broke into a third floor apartment in the building.

The fire in the historic district, referred to by locals as “Morozov’s City”, occurred on Tuesday.
The city’s emergency services dispatched 19 fire trucks in response to the fire, and all residents were successfully evacuated without loss.
Another pet that was also rescued during the mission was a dog.

But most of all we need more people like Andrey Meister.
They give us hope that empathy and humanity have not been eradicated.
