The ingenuity of animal experimenters knows no bounds: merciless, cruel and perverse in the hunt for money and fame
Anyone who has hoped, with the pictures of monkeys with open brains and electrodes in it, to have already looked the worst devil in the face, must be said for some days: No, it is still sicker, even crass, even more perverted.
The Animal Experiments team led by Emily Partridge of the Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia proudly publishes incredible atrocities: They removed unborn lambs from live ewes and kept them in plastic bags (biobags), for weeks before most of the animals were killed to examine them.
According to Spiegel-Online, the umbilical cord of the unborn lambs was connected via cannulas to an artificial placenta.
The lambs were kept for weeks in a plastic bag filled with artificial amniotic fluid.
This was also biobag “baptized”, a special mockery of animal and nature conservation friends, for whom the name Biobag had a positive meaning so far. Netzfrauen.org writes that in three years experiments on humans are planned!! At the end of the experiment, the animal experimenters want to develop an artificial uterus for human babies and present the following video:
Why animal experiments only help the exploiters and not the humans
The animal rights organization “Doctors Against Animal Experiments” emphasizes that animal experiments are not transferable to humans. Therefore, clearly benefit animal experimenters who earn honor and money with it. Incidentally, the German population does not believe in animal testing at all, according to a representative Forsa survey commissioned by “Doctors Against Animal Experiments”.

Palm oil is a vegetable oil found in literally thousands of products ranging from soaps and cosmetics to countless foodstuffs including chocolates, cereals, dairy products and crisps. Its popularity is due to its comparatively low cost to produce and ready availability – but this comes at a terrible cost and palm oil production is widely linked to deforestation, illegal logging, human rights abuses and biodiversity loss.
The problem
Illegal, environmentally destructive and socially exploitative palm oil production is driving deforestation and biodiversity loss, violating human rights and undermining the rule of law in producer countries.
National laws are often inadequate to protect forests, people and biodiversity, while the private and public sectors often ignore existing legal protections. Industry ‘sustainability’ certification schemes such as the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) also offer weak protections, are variably implemented and enforced, and often result in proclaimed standards not being met. Booming global trade in palm oil – used in everything from biscuits and biofuels to cosmetics and cleaning products – incentivises increased production.
The most progressive ‘No deforestation, no peatland, and no exploitation’ (NDPE) policies from major palm oil companies are beginning to emerge, but their policies are voluntary and their reliability is still largely untested.

Congo Creates New Park to Protect Endangered Elephants, Gorillas and More

On Wednesday, the Republic of Congo announced the creation of its fifth national park, which will serve as a refuge for exotic species such as African elephants, chimpanzees, gorillas and an assortment of birds.
Ogooué-Leketi National Park provides these animals with 1,530 square miles of government-protected land. The park borders Batéké Plateau National Park in nearby Gabon; combined, the two parks cover over 2,120 square miles.
Within the park, there are fertile forests, sprawling plains, and river valleys — all habitats for wildlife that doesn’t exist anywhere else on Earth, according to preservationists.
Included on that list are side-striped jackals, six extremely rare savannah plant species, and a new species of the warbler-like cisticola bird. There’s also a presence of somewhat more common but still endangered species, such as lowland gorillas, forest buffalo, red river hogs, and mandrills.
Since 2004, this part of the country has been under speculation by the government’s Ministry of Forestry Economy, along with authorities from the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Congo program. Originally, three logging areas overlapped with potential parkland, but with a great deal of effort, the designation was finally pushed through.
The last of the logging ventures left the area by 2016. For conservationists, this happened not a moment too soon – in 2010, it had become apparent that great ape populations in the area were declining. Due to a fear of the logging activities, elephants had begun gathering in forest clearances during the evening instead of the daytime.
While the establishment of Ogooué-Leketi National Park is a tremendous step forward for the protection of some of Africa’s most endangered species, the threat of commercial hunting remains ever-present. Roads built for loggers make the park easy to access. The Congolese government is currently working with nearby communities to mitigate this threat.
Protesters Denounce ‘Barbaric’ Bullfight in Albox, Spain
For the first time in 15 years, bullfighting has reappeared in Albox, a municipality in the Spanish province of Almeria. The cruel sport was included on this year’s All Saints Day itinerary — a council decision that was defended by local mayor Francisco Torrecilla in an interview with the Euro Weekly News.
‘A National Fiesta’
Torrecilla stated that his administration received an overwhelming number of requests from bullfighting enthusiasts for a revival of the sport. He also justified the decision by pointing out that bullfighting has ‘national fiesta’ status and is not illegal.
Others have defended the return of bullfighting to Albox. One local, Manuel Gutierrez, stated of the protesters: “They don’t understand the fiesta. They don’t know about the money it generates.”

Joaquin Horta of Granada, who was working the ticket booth, believes that people who are against bullfighting don’t consider a bull’s “privileged life” prior to its entry into the ring or the “sacrifices” made by bullfighters.
Despite such glorification of the sport, its incorporation into the All Saints Day program was also met with opposition. A peaceful protest was held by Antitaurinos Almeria, an anti-bullfighting organization, in front of the temporary ring in La Molata.
Protesters made their concerns clear at the demonstration, shouting statements like “this is a national disgrace” and “this is not for children.” They also blew whistles and waved placards. Among the protesters were expatriates and British residents.
One protester, Audrey Bullen, described bullfighting as “unspeakable” and “barbaric.” She also pointed out the apparent hypocrisy of a country that is known for its animal welfare campaigns condoning the sport.
Vicky Evans, a volunteer with the Albox-based animal rights organization APSA, was motivated to participate in the protest by her strong convictions against bullfighting. It was the first protest she ever attended.
Amparo Rodriguez likened the sport’s comeback in Albox to “an enormous step backwards in a civilized society” and echoed the sentiments of many anti-bullfighting activists: “There is no tradition, culture or art in something which is the suffering of a living creature.”

Dog in Hangzhou, China face a campaign of violence as authorities are capturing, beating and drowning any stray found on the streets.
The city’s new, unnecessary and harsh pet regulations limit dog-walking hours to between 7 AM and 7 PM, and dogs have been banned from public places, such as parks and markets. Additionally, 34 dog breeds are now listed as illegal to have within the city. So being the wrong breed is the equivalent of a death sentence. As soon as the campaign started, alarming footage of public security officers committing unspeakable acts of cruelty against dogs began to surface on Chinese social media.
Officers are reportedly entering peoples’ homes to check if their dogs are registered. Dog guardians who violate the new ordinances face excessive punishments such as heavy fines of up to 10,000 yuan ($1,440), family dogs taken away, and revocation of dog licenses.
Nobody, especially members of law enforcement, should be permitted to brutally assault and murder dogs — an act that would be an imprisonable crime in most countries.
Sign this petition urging the Chinese Ambassador to do everything in his power to end these senseless, government-sanctioned attacks against dogs in Hangzhou, and push for animal cruelty legislation to protect all animals in China.

Woman Accused of Hiding 44 Dead Dogs in Freezer Must be Held Accountable

Goal: Prosecute woman accused of massive animal abuse.
44 dead dogs were allegedly found stored in freezers throughout the home of a Shamong Township, New Jersey woman. Police were called to the residence of Donna Roberts after months of neighbor complaints concerning an acrid smell emanating from the home. According to NBC, the township had to pass special ordinances in order to investigate. Once inside, officials reported finding over 100 animals living in their own waste, with no signs of care or clean up. Officers reportedly became dizzy and nauseous just from the toxic smell of the feces- and ammonia-ridden house.
In all, 161 dogs were reportedly discovered in Donna Roberts’ residence, including the 44 dogs that were found wrapped in plastic bags in various freezers. Four of the animals were alleged to be in critical condition and were immediately shipped to emergency clinics. The rest of the surviving dogs have been vaccinated and are now being taken care of by six different animal shelters. Roberts has been released from custody and is awaiting trial. There is no information yet on how or why 161 dogs were found in her residence. It is clear that whoever is responsible for keeping 161 dogs in a single-family home and forcing them to wallow in their own filth is guilty of a profound and disturbing act of animal cruelty and neglect.

161 dogs were reportedly freed from the residence of Shamong County local Donna Roberts earlier this week. Local news claims that new county ordinances had to be passed just to be able to fully investigate a case of alleged animal neglect and cruelty this surprising. Police reported finding the dogs wallowing in their own feces and urine in an environment that reportedly made officers sick and dizzy from mere contact. Upon further investigation, 44 dogs were reportedly found dead and wrapped in plastic bags in various freezers throughout the house. Four other dogs were reportedly discovered in critical condition and immediately sent to emergency clinics.
Donna Roberts was arrested and after being released on bail is awaiting trial. No motive or explanation has been uncovered for how 161 dogs reportedly became trapped in her single-family home. What is clear is whoever is responsible for neglecting so many animals, likely to the point of death in dozens of cases, is guilty of heinous animal cruelty and neglect. It is your responsibility to ensure this case is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I demand that you fully investigate this case and request the harshest penalties for these heinous allegations.
