India: Latest Rescues From Animal Aid Unlimited – Brilliant !

India

We are entering an era of protection for all animals, and it is reflected in the adoption of animals from shelters, the spread of veganism, and fashion against fur and leather; it’s heralded by new technologies that reduce the use of animals in experimentation; of animal circuses closing, dog racing made illegal, and street animal rescuers in India learning, growing, and saving animals in greater and greater numbers. Thank you. Because you are part of the plate shifts that are causing a beautiful tidal wave of recognition that animals are “ours” only to cherish.

Terrified and in pain, puppy’s amazing transformation

We got a call to rescue a very sick street puppy. We found him hiding in a plastic bag, and the moment we touched the bag he screamed in pain. He was desperately hungry so we were able to coax him out with biscuits, but every time we tried to touch him he cried out. He had severe mange and a deep wound on his hip that was causing him the shooting pains every time he moved. This dear little boy was suffering so much, his worried eyes never relaxed for even a moment in the first several days after rescue.

But after 6 weeks of medicine and care, meet Jumper today!

Please donate to be the reason someone heals today.

Dog’s near fatal spine injury heals with physio

He hyperventilated and trembled with pain after a hit and run driver left him for dead on the side of the road. But a kind lady spotted him, immediately stopped her car, placed large stones around him to protect him from being hit again, and called us to his rescue. When we brought him back to Animal Aid’s hospital we found that this gentle sweetheart had no fractures, but his spine was injured and he could no longer stand. He was so trusting that even from the very first moment he seemed to know we were trying to help him and he cooperated throughout 6 weeks of physio and bed-rest. Watch how happy this little hero Pintu was with his results!

Please donate for animals who can’t survive without your help.

Profusely bleeding bull saved

A gorgeous street bull was hit by a passing motorcycle that gashed his ankle so deep it cut a vein. The first thing we saw when we found him was the heart-breaking trail of blood that led to him standing so quiet, so vulnerable, alone in the road. He was an enormous boy, and so peaceful throughout 3 weeks of treatment. Because of his size we called him Burly, and everyone who met him fell instantly in love.

Bull calves usually don’t make it to adulthood because they are killed for their meat and leather. In the time you have watched this video, thousands of bulls and cows around the world and in India just like Burly have been killed.

Please go vegan to save precious lives every day. Please donate.

Dog covered in blood from laceration rescued

This magnificent boy might have bled to death or died from a massive infection after a laceration opened a vein on his leg. We raced him to Animal Aid’s hospital for life-saving care, and in just a few weeks he made a beautiful recovery. Meet handsome Almond today.

Please donate so that street animals can get the emergency treatment when they need it.

Giant plastic catcher heads for Pacific Ocean clean-up

When a Dutch teenager went swimming in the sea in Greece seven years ago, he was shocked to see more plastic than fish.

In fact, Boyan Slat was so appalled by the pollution that he soon started to campaign for the oceans to be cleaned up.

For a long time, few people took him seriously. Here was a university drop-out with a far-fetched idea that surely could never work.

But this weekend, backed by major investment and some massive engineering, a vast plastic collection system will be towed out of San Francisco Bay.

Terror against animals

österreichische Flagge

Terror against animals is so all-encompassing and omnipresent that it is impossible to escape from it. The most recent example from my life: I take a boat to a lake to recover from the arduous writing of animal suffering every day, and to fight this terror against animals. Whom do I meet? An angler waiting for a victim!!

Angeln-in-Daenemark-Profilbild.png

In another place, I enjoy the almost perfect silence – until the cry of a cow reminds me that the seemingly peaceful coastline is littered with “farms”; with lawless inmates awaiting a cruel death after a painful life. (I purposely say “scream” and not “complain” because trapped people do not complain.)

Back on land, I am sitting in a quiet moor landscape. Within minutes, I witness another animal abuse. A girl straightens its dog: “Sit! Stay here! “Then it marches away without turning around.

Uncertainty and anguish is written in the face of the animal. Soon the dog follows his supposed human friend – to be insulted and punished abrasively, because he still cannot suppress his affection and love.

Are some animal Experimenters psychopaths?

When animal experimenters cut up, burn, torment, and deliberately sicken animals, they’re almost never subject to punishment since that cruelty is being done under the guise of “research.”

In extreme cases, those who torture animals are full-blown psychopaths, having a dangerous personality disorder marked by traits and behaviors that include a lack of empathy, deception, manipulation, impulsivity, and a callous disregard for the rights of others.

Lithuania: Some of The Worst Fur Farm Footage Ever Taken – See Below.

Lithuania

Undercover footage by the Lithuanian organisation Kailiu Fermos shows what is being described as some of the most shocking suffering ever recorded on European fur farms. Lithuania is among the world’s largest mink fur producers, with as many as 2 million mink killed on fur farms each year.

The dreadful video (WARNING: EXTREMELY DISTRESSING FOOTAGE) shows mink dying and badly injured in small wire cages. One mink is injured so severely that its organs are visibly coming out of its body, other mink are suffering terrible sores. The footage also shows numerous acts of cannibalism and aggression. One animal screams and tries to crawl away while other animals tear at its insides from a gaping wound.

The Fur Free Alliance has said the video shows such distressing footage that several animal protection organisations have decided not to publish it.

Mink are predatory and wide-ranging animals, not adapted to living in battery cages. On top of that, mink are solitary and semi-aquatic animals. The stress of living in small cages with other animals causes extreme abnormal behaviour, such as cannibalism, self-mutilation and fighting injuries. When mink fall sick they are often left without any care on fur farms.

There are as many as 200 fur factory farms in Lithuania. Around 2 million mink, 4000 foxes and 50 000 chinchillas are killed every year on Lithuanian fur farms.

In 2017, over £100,000 worth of raw mink skins were imported into the UK from Lithuania. Real fur from farms with conditions like this is being worn on British streets.

Respect for Animals Campaign Director, Mark Glover says:

“These deplorable scenes are up there with the worst footage from fur farms that I have ever seen. The suffering experienced by these animals can barely be imagined.  This is the sickening truth about fur. Shame on the morally bankrupt fur industry and all who defend it.”

Gabriele Vaitkevičiūtė, head of Open Cages Lithuania, says:

“In small cages, the basic needs of animals cannot be met, so these problems are not isolated cased but occur on all fur farms. Animal welfare problems such as cannibalism and injuries are inherent to fur farms and are a result from the caging conditions. It would be naive to think that confining a few predatory animals together in one cage would not create aggression.”

Dog market in Serbia: ripe for EU accession ?

serbische Flaggepng

The Austrian association http://www.respektiere.at has recently published a report on the dog market in Serbia on its blog
In addition to the title was also the question: Serbia: ripe for EU accession ?

Of course, Serbia disregards the animal welfare law.

But which “Do Nothing” MEP will deny Serbia accession, because it does not comply with the European animal protection regulations?

We have to be at least naive if we believe that the EU accepts a country as  member (or not) with criterion its standard in animal protection order!!

The report from the blog “www.RespekTiere.at”

Our goal is the weekly market of Novi Sad, where, unfortunately, many animals are offered under catastrophic circumstances for sale. The whole city seems to be on its feet on the market days, the paths between the hundreds of stalls are densely populated by the crowds.

Everything is available here, from clothing to any conceivable tool, with dozens of food stalls in between, vendors of corn and sodas pushing their mobile carts through the clogged alleys, children eating sweets…

UK: Burberry To Finally Stop Burning Unsold Products To ‘Protect’ Its Image – and Also Pledges To STOP Using Real fur On Products.

Burberry to stop burning unsold items after green criticism

Burberry is to end its practice of burning unsold clothes, bags and perfume and will also stop using real fur after criticism from environmental campaigners.

The British fashion house destroyed unsold £28.6m worth of products last year to protect its brand, taking the value of items destroyed over the past five years to £105m. It has previously defended its practice by saying that the energy generated from burning its goods was captured.

The FTSE 100 company now says it will reuse, repair, donate or recycle all unsaleable products.

Burberry will also end the use of real fur and says the debut collection from its new chief creative officer, Riccardo Tisci, to be presented on 17 September during London fashion week, will not feature any. Existing fur products will be phased out.

Militant vegan attacked butchery again in France !

I will not translate the whole article of an unsuspecting and lobbyist journalist.
A journalist, who has no idea about anti-speciesism and animal rights activism.
I will attach only a few passages from this ridiculous article that proves, that the dominant moral structure of this society is created by the dirty and racist propaganda of the press.

————————————————————————–

In the land of the Savoir-vivre, a new culinary battle of the culinary kind is on fire. Épinay-sur-Orge really is not what you would call the navel of the world. Now the faceless Parisian suburb has suddenly fallen into the national headlines.

More specifically, its butchery: Last weekend, at four o’clock in the morning, it was attacked by half a dozen hoodlum people. They threw stones into the shop window and sprayed in yellow paint: “Stop spécisme” – Stop the speciesism.

—————————————————-

The graffiti leaves no doubt that the vandalistic acts are attributable to radical vegans (!!!). They describe themselves as “antispeciesists”, that means: as fighters against the discrimination of individual species (species) by the flesh-eating people (!!!) –

The first attacks were launched in Northern France in 2017. The targets were not only meat but also fish shops and restaurants, which mainly offer meat dishes. In Lyon, even a dairy was smeared, with a graffiti read: “Milk is rape”!

Melk Kuh

———————————————————————————————————

These actions did not gain much understanding among the French. French cuisine is rich in meat; This is evidenced by dishes such as filet mignon, cordon bleu and Lyon sausage, but also lamb gypsy (club), rabbit terrine or goose liver. These delicacies are an integral part of French gastronomy – and thus of national pride.

fois gras

The anti-speciesists are unlikely to be very numerous. Their sympathizers, however, point out that France has had a pronounced culture of conflict since the revolution of 1789; if you want to achieve something, you can only reach the goal with spectacular methods. –

————————————————————————————————————————-

The attacked butchery in Épinay -sur-Orge offers what the anti-speciesists probably did not know vegan steaks. “Everyone should be able to eat what they want,” said their boss Cédric Neveu. On the first opening day after the attack, more customers than usual came into his shop – to buy in solidarity with the butcher especially many meat products.
