England: Stay Foxy.

England

Hi all;

The system has been down most of the day and has only just returned – it is now 9-30 in the evening (UK time) and it is late to do posts.  Instead I thought I would show you a few fox photos that I have taken in the last couple of years in my front garden.  Over time they got to know me, and because I used to give them some food they knew that they were safe and would not be harmed – as if – me !

Enjoy them – keep wildlife in the wild !

I have a lot – these are just a quick few.

Regards Mark

fox in office 1

Above – this little guy used to pop into the office when I was working on the computer – jump up onto the window ledge and just chill for a while.  Then he would go down out the door and return to his life in the wild.  I had to get a few pictures as when I told friends I had a fox pop into the office; they never believed me !

There is no human right to profit through torturing and murdering others.

“New footage was taken by Glass Walls operatives last weekend, but we bet you have seen this all before.  It’s because the same breeding practices are used everywhere in the world and all nations are equally responsible”.

And I mean…No animal in this world deserves to live like this. Factory farming is nothing more than organized crime, a legalized crime.
They are simply the criminals, the meat industry and their clients, the meat-eaters.

Most people are shocked when they see pictures from animal barracks and reject factory farming.
Nevertheless, the conditions are tolerated.
The media participate; that covers corrupt politicians and the meat industry because that’s an unpopular issue that shames so many people who consume animal meat.

Even so, most people eat meat and other animal products who made in exactly these facilities with this suffering.
Law philosopher Gary Francione called this moral schizophrenia.

What is meant is that our beliefs and our behavior contradict each other.

But after all, everyone serves this system with his consumption.
It is the system of maximum financial gain through the maximal legalized exploitation of defenseless.
No more and no less.

India: 29,429 NEW coronavirus cases IN 1 DAY with total infections nearing one million. Can the Government See the Wood for the Trees ?

INDA0001

No apologies; but is it only people in the animal rights movement who can make the link with what is happening  ?

Very strong original suggestions that it all started at a wet market in Wuhan, China.

Today 15/7/20 – in India alone it is sending 375million people back into lockdown as country suffers record spike of 29,429 NEW coronavirus cases with total infections nearing one million.

Where is this video below from ? – yes, showing Indian wet markets !! – the very first scenes (for a few seconds) say a lot.

Why cant they at least make a link in this case ? – we know 2+2=4;

but governments around the world appear to come up with 37 or something similar – why ?

– don’t they want to really address the root cause of the issue; and better still, do something about it, or not ? – there is not much to show the issues being addressed at present.

I am lost really with the complete government ignorance; what else do you do but try by showing stull like this above; but to no avail.  They are governments; they know better than mere mortals.

The future of our oceans – YOUR DECISION

sea shepeard logojpg

“If something is really important, you do it, even if the odds are not in your favor”.

The question is whether you want to tell your grandchildren that they can only see a certain animal species as an image in a book or on a computer or on TV because you didn’t have the courage to get up and change something.

There are already many animal species in our oceans that are extinct or are on the brink of extinction.

Without organizations like Sea Shepherd, who patrol the waters in collaboration with many governments and at the forefront, illegal fishing could wipe out many more species. It is the short-sightedness and greed of a few who drive this development, but it is the large mass of people who watch and make it happen.

As far as we know, there are now less than 30 bottlenose dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico. Most of their fellows were killed as by-catches in the networks of illegal fishermen.

There are only around 55 Maui dolphins and less than 9000 Hector dolphins left off the coast of New Zealand. This means a decline of 80-90% of the stock in the past 50 years, mainly due to death from fishing nets and lines.

Both species have a very slow reproductive rate, with sexual maturity only being reached at 7 to 9 years. They have a calf only every 2 to 4 years and suffer from a high mortality rate among newborns.

What can you do?

In addition to refraining from eating seafood, you can submit petitions to strengthen marine parks and the legal protection of all marine life. Call for compliance with and enforcement of all existing laws against illegal, unregulated, and undocumented fishing.

Support organizations like Sea Shepherd that are at the forefront of IUU fishing and poaching.

Decide now to make a change because tomorrow it might be too late.

OPERATION MILAGRO to protect bottlenose dolphins is carried out by Sea Shepherd in the USA and OPERATION PAHU to protect the Maui and Hector dolphins by Sea Shepherd in New Zealand.

Sea Shepherd, Germany

And I mean…”You are not only responsible for what you do, but also for what you don’t do”.
So I had read it somewhere.

When I made a conscious decision to fight for animal rights and do everything possible to combat injustice against the “other” animals, my mother asked me one day:
“YOU will save the world?”
Today I can answer: “Yes! who else?”
Those who fight can lose, but those who don’t fight have already lost.

France: the liberation of 7 foie gras ducks

Around July 3, 2020, in France, we, anti-speciesist activists, managed to exfiltrate 7 ducks from a foie gras farm and place them where they will never be considered as anything but people again.

France_ducks_foie gras pg

We were dropped off near the farm where these ducks were kept. The driver then drove away with the car, because parking for a long time in the middle of a usually deserted road at night we knew that we risked attracting the attention of a police patrol or other people who could have passed by.

We then crossed crop fields to avoid passing in front of the house of the humans who are exploiting them …

When we finally arrived at the place where the duck shelters are, we came face to face with… nothingness. The shelters were empty… There was no noise. No more presence. The shelters we were targeting were those of the ducks who were not yet force-fed… and obviously, we were too late.

We wondered if we should go and see the force-feeding building, which was much closer to the house of their oppressors. As we walked towards it, we could also see that one of their windows was lit. The operation then seemed difficult.

Looking around, despite the almost complete darkness of the night, we thought we saw something that looked like a shelter, further away from the others.

As we got closer we started to smell the droppings, typical of birds breeding. When we inspected the door to see if it was locked and not equipped with an alarm system, we heard the flapping of the wings of something like 40 birds panicking.

We finally found them. Well… those who had not yet been subjected to the force-feeding torture or the horror of their killing.

Several of us went inside to catch the 7 ducks to whom we had previously found a family. They then had no idea that we would take them to a place where they would no longer be considered anything other than what they are: people who should have the right not to be exploited, dominated, tortured, or killed needlessly.

We almost had to jump on them because they were so suspicious, strong, and absolutely not ready to cooperate. It is a shame that this is not enough in the face of their oppressors and that there is a need for activists like us to get them out of their hell…

After catching everyone, we contacted the person in charge of the transport by walkie-talkie so that he/she would come back to pick us up at the meeting point.

On the way back, the ducks were terrified and glued to each other to reassure themselves.

Only we knew that afterward, it would be better for them. Only we knew that they were part of those who would live, opposed to all those who were, are and will still be in farms and slaughterhouses after this day, until the abolition of Speciesism.
