END CRUEL AND ILLEGAL EU LIVE ANIMAL EXPORTS

PETITION TARGET: European Parliament President Antonio Tajani

Each year, more than three million animals from the EU are forced to endure the horrific journey of live animal export, matted and suffocating in their own faeces for weeks, to then be gruesomely slaughtered in countries with little to no animal welfare laws including the Middle East, North Africa, and Singapore.

The EU must end this cruel practice; and shockingly, they’ve already banned it — they just blatantly ignore the law.

SIGN: End Cruel and Illegal EU Live Animal Exports

In an appalling display of complete disregard for animal protection and public trust, the EU has consistently violated this law for nearly 15 years.

In fact, the EU banned live animal exports in 2005 to countries that do not meet European animal welfare standards for handling, transport, and slaughter. But the law is largely brushed aside. The European Parliament has discussed finally enforcing it, first in 2012 and again in 2019. However, some members are still voting against the enforcement of laws protecting animals from the gruesome live export trade.

The situation is so dire, “Not one of the importing countries currently taking animals from Europe meets the EU’s standards for animal welfare,” according to Animals Australia.

Photographer Roee Shprenick stated, “Calves for meat from Portugal arrived at Ashdod port in Israel after being stuck at sea for 26 days, covered in feces and some blinded by the ammonia fumes.”

This inhumane and illegal suffering must end.
Sign this petition to urge the European Parliament to finally enforce their own laws and end cruel live animal exports.

Mexico: Female Bullfighter Gored in the Face – Karma and all that.

mexico

A female bullfighter was gored in the face while staring down the massive animal on her knees, leaving her with gaping wounds as she was carried out of the ring.

Bullfighter Hilda Tenorio suffered serious facial injuries and was rushed to hospital covered in blood after being severely gored for the second time in her career.

The 32-year-old Mexican matador received emergency medical attention at the scene before being taken to hospital for an hours-long operation to mend a broken jaw.

Footage of the dramatic moment she was knocked to the ground shows the half-ton bull, called ‘Querido Viejo’, which in English would translate as ‘My Dear Old Friend’, charging her before onlookers rush to help her.

Ms Tenorio was facing down the bull on her knees when it trampled over her in the city of Puebla on Sunday.

Graphic photos show her face covered in blood as she is carried out of the ring.

She is later seen sat upright on a gurney in the back of an ambulance.

After the operation, she wrote to her fans on social media: “I want to thank you all for your messages of support.

“My injuries are very serious and I have not been able to sleep all night, sat up in bed because there was no other option.

“The doctors have said my upper jaw is broken and my cheeks are fractured from my eye socket.”

Mexican media have said she is expected to have to take a six-month rest from bullfighting as they condemned the sport.

Bullfighting opponents and animal rights activists showed no sympathy for her.

EU: MEP’s Have Their Say In the Hundreds, But In The End; If Commissioner Says NO, Then No It is.

GREECE/

The following is produced in relation to the EU elections which will take place on 23-26 May 2019. They are for Members of the European Parliament (MEP), not for the Commissioners, who are not elected by the democratic system. The government of each member state of the EU nominates a member for the Commission, but cannot later give them any orders or remove them from their post. The members of the Commission are supposedly positioned to act in the interest of the European Union as a whole, and not their home country.

Thus, electing MEP’s with your vote in May really does not change anything. MEP’s have NO power to remove a Commissioner – and the Commissioner is ultimately the SINGLE person who has the FINAL SAY regardless of decisions and votes taken in the European Parliament.

So is there any point in ‘EU man and woman’ really having a vote when the EU system works like this ? – we see it simply as a veil for the EU establishment to give the EU citizen he is making a difference, when the reality is the decisions are made by the Commissioners who are un elected and cannot be removed ! – a fair system ? – what do you think ?

So the EU Parliament of hundreds of members can vote for animal transport times to be reduced; but if the Commissioner says NO, then No it is.

Remember this when you are asked to give your vote at the EU elections in May. Does your vote for MEP’s only really mean anything ? – we suggest you ask the sole decision making Commissioners.

—————————————————

Every year millions of animals are transported live from the EU for slaughter in the Middle East and North Africa. The journeys last hundreds of hours and they face brutal treatment on arrival at their final destination.

Every year, over three million animals are exported from the European Union to NON-EU countries. Hundreds of thousands are destined for countries such as Russia, Turkey, The Middle East and North Africa. Investigations have uncovered animals being exported live for brutal slaughter in countries across the Middle East, and even as far away as Singapore.

Despite these countries having no laws that protect animals from brutal treatment, and though the European Commission and livestock exporting Member States have long been made fully aware of the extreme cruelty such animals are being subjected to, both have been actively seeking to increase the export of EU animals.

Image result for live animal transport suffering

In 2015 the European livestock export value increased 25,2% compared to 2014, and increased further in 2016. In the first nine months of 2016 EU export of live animals increased to 17,2 % in comparison to the same period in 2015.

A 5 year study carried out between 2010-2015 by Eyes on Animals and TSB/AWF demonstrated 70% of live export trucks inspected at the (EU) Bulgarian border (a major exit point for EU animals) were breaching the EU Transport Regulation. The team found animals, such as sheep, starving, without water, parked in direct sunlight, and waiting 5 days before continuing their journey. Packed tightly together, young lambs were trampled to death while the elders were left standing on their carcasses.

These horrifically long journeys must be stopped once and for all and replaced by a trade in frozen or refrigerated meat. When European animals are exported outside of the EU, they can suffer squalid housing, brutal handling, torturous restraint systems, and slow, painful slaughter. But we have shown with investigations for many years that animals being transported within the EU also suffer terribly.

Image result for live animal transport suffering

Barbaric slaughtering methods.

Investigations continually provide evidence that the slaughtering of animals being sold from the EU to Third Countries is barbaric. The footage captured on the slaughtering routines these importing countries are using are in full breach of international standards. Such routines include terrifying fully conscious very large bulls by painfully dragging them up off the floor by one of their rear legs, and slashing their throat several times before they die in Turkish slaughterhouses.

Similar footage shows partial hoisting of fully conscious cattle in Lebanese slaughterhouses and their torture with electric prods before their throats are slashed. There is evidence as well of petrified European animals being brutally restrained by ropes before having their throats hacked whilst fully conscious in the Palestinian territories and Egypt. Furthermore, the extended suffering of European animals has been caught on camera showing how full inversion slaughter boxes are used in Turkey, Ramallah and Egypt. In addition, the brutal handling and slaughtering of Portuguese and Romanian sheep was documented in the Palestinian territories and Jordan.

Under EU Regulation 1/2005, animals are being exported by European countries to Non EU nations without any consideration as to whether the importing countries’ infrastructure, handling and slaughter practices comply with basic international standards. Even if the majority of abattoirs in importing countries have no capacity or understanding to handle or slaughter animals humanely, no EU regulation ought to allow the animal cruelty that is occurring. Further still, the fact that so many importing countries lack even the most basic hygiene protocols means the resulting meat is in fact unfit for human consumption in the EU.

Some MEPs (Members of the European Parliament) are in favour of improving conditions for animals in transport and have voted to impose an overall limit on journey times. In its last sitting the European Parliament voted in favour of a limit to journey times, but the European Commission failed to support this change, resulting in no change in the law.

So, we can say with confidence that the European Commission is failing all animals that are transported both within, and to nations outside of the European Union.

The EU Commissioner responsible for failures is one:

Image result for phil hogan eu

Philp Hogan (born 4 July 1960) an Irish Fine Gael politician, and climate change sceptic, who has served as European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development since November 2014. Can a Commissioner be removed by the EU ? – No. The government of each member state (in this case Ireland) nominates a member for the Commission, but cannot later give them any orders or remove them from their post. The members of the Commission are to act in the interest of the European Union as a whole, not their home country. We question this as Ireland has recently been setting up live export deals with non-EU destinations such as: Lebanon; Morocco; Russia; Rwanda and Tunisia.

https://www.agriland.ie/farming-news/analysis-the-irish-live-cattle-export-market-in-2018/

Ireland exported 246,000 live animals in 2018, according to the IFA. The majority were calves and weanlings going to Spain and the Netherlands. The IFA wants to double live export numbers in 2019, and gain more access to markets in Turkey and North Africa.

The question is – has Commissioner Hogan been a voice for the Irish agriculture industry rather than addressing issues within the EU such as live animal transport ?

A Commissioner’s basic monthly salary is fixed at 112.5% of the top civil service grade. This works out at €22,367.04 per month.

In 2015 the Court of Justice judged – Zuchtvieh arrest – that the Transport Regulation 1/2005’s provisions not only apply to the EU but rather to the entire journey of transporting European animals outside the EU until their final destination, still in Third countries there are not facilities to unload, feed, water, rest animals and to provide them with basic care. And yet the trade continues and so does the suffering, in complete disregard of the highest Court’s Jurisprudence.

Image result for live animal transport suffering

Within Europe, animals are SUPPOSED to be protected by EU Regulation 1/2005, – ‘the protection of live animals during transport and related operations’; but live animals in transport are routinely failed by this legislation.

The way in which the trade of live animals is currently carried out in the EU is in clear breach of Article 13 of the Treaty on the Function of the EU (TFEU), which is a requirement to “pay full regard to” animal welfare in formulating and implementing EU agriculture policy. In addition, by facilitating and supplying live EU animals to countries that are consistently failing to meet standards of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) – the EU Commission is undermining the work of the OIE to improve animal welfare standards. Compliance with OIE standards is intended to form the basis of trade agreements between countries.

The Massacre of Animals in Serbia

(From WAV friends Branka and Pavel).

Dogs in Serbia 1 [ 62.77 Kb ]

THE WAR IS OVER BUT THE BRUTAL MASSACRE OF ANIMALS ADVANCES

During the past several weeks we have been contacted by countless Serbians concerned about the startling escalation of blatant animal abuse in their country, who requested that we tell their story while keeping their identities secret. Following, are facts and observations recounted by Serbian citizens to the writers of this article.

Ever since the end of the war, Serbia has been inundated with abandoned street animals, the majority of whom are brutally murdered. Like so many other places in the world, most citizens and civil authorities are not educated in humane animal issues and furthermore do not care. Sterilization (spay/neuter) is not practiced. The animal welfare laws that do exist are not enforced and improving animal welfare is not a priority of Serbian government officials.

Dogs in Serbia 2 [ 47.29 Kb ]

While it is understandable that the country is still in transition due to its history of war, Serbian citizens reporting the injustices to us, rumor that ample documentation exists detailing rampant corruption not only among Serbian authorities but even within some of the non governmental organizations (NGOs) purportedly engaged in animal welfare. Thankfully, a small minority of compassionate people are working diligently to bring about positive change for both companion and farmed animals. Obviously and sadly, they cannot do it alone.

Ten years have passed since Serbian hostilities were laid to rest It is absurd and unacceptable to use the war as an excuse for abuse, neglect, indifference and inaction. Yet, torturing, poisoning and brutally killing dogs and cats is still occurring without punishment for the perpetrators of these vicious animal related crimes. The ‘Serbian scene’ is of growing concern to civilized people everywhere. Serbian animal welfare advocates have witnessed brutal trapping methods, the ruthless beatings of dogs to death and poisonings, resulting in agonizing deaths. Hunters wantonly shoot abandoned companion animals for sport.

Dogs in Serbia 3 [ 65.47 Kb ]

Our sources estimate that the city of Belgrade savagely destroys about six thousand dogs annually. The city ‘fathers’ hire the ‘professional pest’ control firm, EKOSAN to exterminate the unwanted animals–innocent victims of human animal cruelty. The government claims that humane practices are exercised yet documentation and verbal reports from animal workers detail graphic images of dogs in Belgrade’s ‘OVCA’ dog kill shelter being viciously destroyed. So much for official Serbian credibility!

Other Serbian observers report that many of the so called humane societies work in ‘close’ relationship with authorities who advocate destroying the stray animals. Witnesses have observed dogs and cats being destroyed using brutal methods by ‘dog catchers’. ‘Workers’ at kill shelters lack training in humane animal care and control and legal issues pertaining to animal rights. Witnesses have observed dogs and cats being destroyed using viciousl methods within these same ‘shelters’. There are also reports of the ‘disappearances’ of sterilization and euthanasia equipment. Furthermore, documentation is available showing dead dogs, skinned and heaped together – the victims of mass execution. All this, in a Belgrade shelter! Is this what the Serbian hierarchy terms humane euthanasia?

Dogs in Serbia 4 [ 67.07 Kb ]

Equally as sad and reprehensible is the Belgrade zoo, one of the oldest zoos in Europe. Housing approximately two thousand animals, the zoo has acquired a notorious reputation due to the unacceptable treatment of the animals in their ‘care’. The zoo director has close ties to the Serbian hunting lobby as well as Belgrade’s city hall. Documentation is available from Serbian animal welfare advocates showing these animals confined within squalid living conditions and consequently ill and distressed. Many of these animals exhibit abnormal behaviour, such as bar biting, over-grooming, self mutilation, head bashing, circling, leg chewing, etc. Furthermore, many animals that were born in the zoo throughout the years have disappeared. The zoo claimed that new tigers, bears and a hippo were born recently but the animals appear to have vanished.

Prior to the EU Elections In Late May 2019; We Will Be Exposing EU Animal ‘Welfare’ Failures By A System Which Does Not Care.

zerissene EU-Flagge am Stock

JC Drunker 1

5/5/19 – Today Venus and I have discussed Serbia and the EU Parliamentary elections which will take place between 23-26/5/19. http://www.europarl.europa.eu/unitedkingdom/en/european-elections/european_elections.html

We will be publishing more on the EU and its failures for animal welfare in the coming weeks. We will also link in to Serbia’s wish to become an EU member state; but at the moment I would like you to see and read Venus’s excellent post on Serbia which she published a few days ago – https://worldanimalsvoice.com/2019/05/04/serbia-land-of-collective-animal-torment/

We have experience with Serbia and animal ‘welfare’ going back to 2005 when we formed ‘Serbian Animals Voice’ (SAV. Here is the link to SAV and the specific ‘Serbian’ sector – https://serbiananimalsvoice.com/category/serbia-central-serbia-capital-belgrade-and-serbiavojvodina-capital-novi-sad/

Here is the link to Serbian animals and the failures by the Serbian government to enforce it own legislation – https://serbiananimalsvoice.com/about-serbian-animals/

Officially, to become an EU member state, any nation wishing to join the EU must show (under the Copenhagen Agreement) that it IS enforcing its own national ‘Rules of Law’. Serbia does not do this with animal welfare; thus we consider that Serbia should NOT be allowed to join the EU, as it is non-compliant. More on this about the law in the link https://serbiananimalsvoice.com/about-serbian-animals/

But we all know that existing EU member states such as Romania are not enforcing EU legislation anyway. Despite numerous reports and visits by MEP’s to Romania to document their terrible animal welfare status, the EU simply walks away from the data. It is the same with EU wide live animal transport legislation; the EU simply does not accept any of the hard evidence presented to them showing that EU rules on live animal transport are NOT being enforced.

J C Drunker 3

We will go deeper into these issues over the next few weeks, before the EU elections; where ‘EU citizens’ supposedly have their vote on the EU system and the people (MEP’s) that represent them. We know from bee killing pesticides through to animal transport, the voice of the ‘EU man’ is not really listened to; but the voice of lobbyists for the ‘Mafia’s’ which seem to run the EU are always listened to. They have the money to lobby to get what they want; so they always win.

For now, I leave you with a few more links and videos for your review; which shows the ‘EU system’ for animals and their ‘welfare’ does not work:

Croatia joined the EU in 2013 – this is ‘EU animal welfare’  !

Serbia: Land of collective animal torment

serbische Flaggepng

A few days ago, the Austrian organization “RespekTiere” published a shocking report on the situation of animals in Serbia.

“How many times have we been in Serbia and always have we not only heard unbelievable stories of animal cruelty but also had to testify again and again.
An end to the violence against the most helpless in our society, against the animals, is not foreseeable, quite the contrary – the situation seems to be getting worse and worse! ”

That’s how the report starts.
Because it is quite long, only the main points of this report are told.

“There are quite wonderful people in Serbia, with an open heart and a lot of animal love, no question.
But there is another side that is fighting brutality, even against such people, and is constantly waging a merciless and cruel war on animals – we do not want to leave that unspoken!

Already in the course of our first trips to the center of the Balkan Peninsula, we were overwhelmed by the sheer dimension of violence against the animals – yes, in Romania, Bulgaria or similar countries, terrible things happen in relation to the so helplessly delivered animals.

serbien 1pgPhoto: Mountains of dead dogs – who is responsible ???

But while elsewhere in the majority, individual offenders let their madness run wild, they happen in the country on the Danube in the collective, and so the quality and quantity of animal cruelty is probably unique. In fact, the crime on animals is such a widespread phenomenon that one must already speak of a pattern; or a virus, nestled in the DNA of certain groupings, inherited by the bloodline.

In addition, animal cruelty is always accompanied by a second, at least as devastating social weakness: the lack of empathy. Only this mating allows the release of the beast in us – and makes the inner monster so dangerous, because it can be unleashed without any approach and completely unpredictable! By the way, the symptomatology can only be fought by itself, there is no panacea, no cure, no antidote.

serbien 2pgPhotos: terrible conditions: Wolf in the zoo …

Only very few examples support the accusation, discuss the situation; These are examples that we were able to list in our short visits, which of course probably represented only the smallest possible tip of the iceberg. Knowing the circumstances, the mentality, the places of the offenses, spreads a dizzying overall picture (and even the worst case is no exaggeration, believe us).

A few years ago huge containers were found in the landfills, where trapped stray dogs were thrown –  alive! Several of them were in one place, at any time, scattered throughout the land, a testimony of absolute inhumanity.
The poor animals were literally at 35 degrees in the shade, without water and without food, stacked on top of each other. Without escape.
Until the huge steel containers overflowed  and released corpses of thirsty, starving, self-tormenting, crazy dogs.
No pity, no tear. Not even a regret.
That’s just how it happens. Solution to the Street Dog Problem. Daily craft of dog slayerers who surpass any perversity.

serbien Gräberpg

So much at the moment; But what is the situation today? There is only one answer: shattering as ever!
Well, the containers in the dumps may have disappeared, that’s right. But the mass graves still exist; and the open, deep trenches still want to feed them.
Hellmouth is waiting for food.
And they are nourished by the corpses of the voiceless. In the pictures you can see such places of death, and the harrowing shots were taken less than two months ago.

serbien 4Photo: the charred corpse of a dog at the field; note the rope around the forefoot – the anonymous victim had been dragged onto the open ground …

There are even very good laws regarding the handling of animals, for the protection of stray dogs, for example. But what good does the text on the paper, if the implementation does not work, the theory with the practice never and never keeps pace?

Serbien 5jpg

In the photo you can see a dog, recently tied up in barbed wire; only the use of bolt cutters was able to free the poor animal from the grip of the metal monster, which pulls all the more tightly with each movement and cuts in deeper and deeper with a thousand knives. Horrible open wounds were left behind on the maltreated body, a whole team fought for hours for the survival of the poor animal.

serbien7pg

serbien6pg

Such examples show only too well that animal welfare has remained a foreign word in large parts of the population. Even in the third millennium, in the middle of Europe.
He is at best smiled at, but often even directly threatened those who want to help, they are stones placed in the way and in fact thrown after them.
Activists are beaten up, a trivial offense; because where there is no knowledge, a crime can not be perceived as a crime. That’s the problem: animal cruelty is not recognized as an offense; even if the law says something else a hundred times. Perpetrators are completely surprised when their actions are sometimes branded as an offense – when … and then almost exclusively under pressure from the public.

serbien 8jpg

serbien 9jpg

serbien 10Photos: Traces of brutal violence against dogs in the shelter – recorded in hiding, current time witnesses … All this did not happen many years ago, the pictures show the here and now !!!!

We no longer want to torture her with terrible individual cases; The fact is, we have to act. Do not allow such a concentrated madness right outside the front door no longer ignored. By the way, Serbia is a candidate for EU membership; a connection to the Union is envisaged for 2025.

But as long as such terrible things happen to the animals, the country can not and will not be ready for the EU, the question of accesion cannot even be asked. Cruelty to animals is a most terrible crime and can not be tolerated under any circumstances, as a trivial offense belonging to the “agenda”.

We ask you with all our heart, write to the representations of Serbia in your country. Ask the ambassadors to finally take real steps in the topic; Help them all to inform Serbian policy that, as long as such conditions prevail and nothing is done, Serbia can not be welcomed into the EU. Protest, NOW !!!

“RespekTiere” will soon, as much as we can tell, set with a spectacular action the starting point for a related campaign!

https://us12.campaign-archive.com/

My comment: Romania, Greece and Spain have been members of the EU for years.

There, it’s also about collective murder against animals, we could even talk about a national sport.

Galgos mass graves also reach us every day on Facebook. Horror Shelters in Romania with unimaginable torture for dogs have become a business in this EU country.

What do we learn from this?
WITH or WITHOUT being a member of the EU, the Middle Ages for animals remain the same (almost) everywhere.

And when the situation with the animals in one of these countries has improved, it is not because they have become EU members, but because animal rights activists have fought hard for the rights of animals.

According to EU law, each country is responsible for animal welfare!! And most crimes against animals (any kind of animals) are subsidized with EU funds.

Therefore, the best would be if all (still) EU member countries would go out of this crime syndicate, called EU. How England did it.

My best regards to all, Venus

Vietnam: animal cruelty as a tradition

Vietnam flagge

Animal welfare groups, the media and the public are shocked by animal cruel videos shot in the capital Hanoi.

A pack of hunting dogs mangles and kills a single boar – as a “highlight” of a club event.

The fight was organized by a group of Argentine mastiff enthusiasts in an empty field in the southwest of Hanoi. The video shows a single boar released from a cage and a pack of mastiffs mauling the animal, cheered on by their owners and watchers. As the boar’s squeals eventually subside, all that is left is a bloody mess.

The recording was made on March 18, 2018 in the suburb of Hanoi. Millions have seen it on Facebook – and damn. The graphic footage has invoked wrath and revulsion from viewers on social media. Vu Ngoc Thanh, an animal expert, said the event was “barbaric and uncivilized.”

“Where is the humanity in this?” he said.

Nguyen Tam Thanh, an animal welfare officer from Animals Asia, said the fight was a display of violence to satisfy instinctual, cardinal desires, and such a thing has no place in civilized society.

The video evidence of this vile spectacle has shocked Vietnam and led to a violent backlash across the board.

The press has also quickly picked up on the incident: Every major newspaper in the country has reported and called for consequences, including VNExpress and Tuoi Tre. Even major news channels such as Vietnam Television (VTV) broadcasted contributions to this orgy of violence hosted by a hunting dog club.

But despite the general anger over this bloodthirsty event, the organizers remain stubborn.
One of the participating young men told the media:
“We do not stop because it’s not illegal – we just do not want it on social networks anymore.”

However, the brazen comments on the participants ignore the attitude of the authorities, which have pledged to crack down on it.
Nguyen Tam Thanh, animal welfare officer at Animals Asia and vociferous opponent of this gruesome drama explains:
Penalizing animal abuse and ills. “The behavior of the lawyer in the video is highly barbaric and the Vietnamese society does not tolerate this -treatment makes it difficult to adequately sanction this crime. ”

wildschwein attakiert von Hundepg

While Vietnam has passed its first animal welfare law in 2016the Animal Health Law animal cruelty has not yet been punishable.

Tuan Bendixsen, Director of Animals Asia Vietnam, emphasizes:
“These cases are very clear that the current legislation does not have any legal consequences to fear.

This case must be understood by the competent authorities as a wake-up call. Vietnam needs more stringent animal welfare laws – laws that prohibit inflicting pain and suffering on animals. The current law must be clarified, expanded and made more effective by appreciable punishments! “

Animal welfare has become increasingly important in Vietnam’s public debate in recent years. Animals Asia released a cruel Spring Festival in which a pig had been chopped in half. The condemnation by the public and their demand to suppress such practices resulted in the prohibition of numerous barbarous festivals.

Something similar came to light in Indonesia last year, according to a research by the Scorpion Foundation, a partner organization of Animals Asia. The ensuing campaign eventually led the Indonesian authorities to announce a ban on all such events.

Buffalo+Petition+smallerInjured buffaloes at the Do-Son Buffalo Fight Festival

The face of this buffalo is bleeding. He can only open one of his eyes while he is tortured painfully at the ring in his nose through the crowd.

For three decades, buffaloes have been tortured and forced into cruel, bloody battles.

The buffalo surviving the fight is faced with the next “opponent”. As long as there is only one left – weak and broken. The winner does not receive mercy. He too is forcibly killed, exploited and sold in parts for consumption as part of the Do-Son festival”.

https://www.animalsasia.org/de/media/news/news-archive/brutal-dog-vs-boar-fight-in-vietnam-sparks-national-outrage-and-calls-for-law-change.html

My comment: We have two things to clarify here: The report is exactly one year old.
Thats the one thing.

In Germany, there are also atrocities against wild boars, which are crushed by hunting dogs. Not at festivals, but in the hunt for blood orgies in the woods.
That’s the second one.

But where cruelty happens in the name of tradition, we will never be tired of publishing it. No matter where it happens.

This is about a legal lynch murder, and is therefore also called tradition.
It is not tradition.
At each of such murders, the corpses of compassion, ethics and progress will fall there on the ground.
It is murder, it is an act that exclusively celebrates and represents violence from beginning to end.

Therefore: we no longer leave this brutal, morbid and irrational custom to a small group of this society that wants to savor its sadism and crime under the guise of tradition.
We act, now and everywhere.

My best regards, Venus

Friday, 21st June 2019 (21/6/19) is the ‘Bring Your Dog to Work Day’.

Make note and put it in your diary. If your employer has never dealt with this before; take time out and try to ask them to allow it to happen – promote it. As the info below shows, it could improve productivity by having your dog with you for the day !

Friday, 21st June 2019 (21/6/19) is the Bring Your Dog to Work Day.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Take_Your_Dog_to_Work_Day

Take Your Dog to Work Day (TYDTWDay) was created by Pet Sitters International and first celebrated in 1999. PSI created the day to encourage businesses to allow dogs in the workplace for one Friday each year to celebrate the great companions dogs make and promote their adoptions from local shelters, rescue groups and humane societies.

PSI believes that through the event dog-less co-workers will be encouraged to adopt when they witness the human-animal bond. The week leading up to Take Your Dog To Work Day is Take Your Pet To Work Week.
